May 4, 2011 - Updated: May 4, 2011

Question:   What is a QR code and why do I need one?

Answer:     They come to us from Japan where they are very common. QR is short for Quick Response and they can easily & quickly be read by any smart phone. They are used to take a piece of information from a transitory media and put it into your cell phone, such as a link to your website or even a Youtube video about a property. You may have seen already QR Codes in magazines, newspapers, flyers and even clothing.

You need one, if you want to be ahead of the curve (technology speaking) and wish to successfully create a positive impression onto your current and prospective clients.  RE/MAX has already created an exclusive website for you that can be accessed by QR codes and where you will be able to download your own, exclusively to you, QR code.

Here are the instructions:

  1. Got to: www.Remax.ca
  2. Click on: FIND AN AGENT
  3. Enter your own name
  4. Click on: My Profile

You will notice that on that page on the right side, a QR Code has been generated for you.  You can save a copy of that image use that QR Code on all your marketing materials.  Don’t like the profile you see there?  You can change/add your picture and details by visiting RE/MAX Ontario website @ www.bestagent.ca
